ANATEMA SYNOPSIS

Juana Rabadán, a young nun, is tasked with exploring the catacombs beneath one of Madrid’s oldest churches. The archbishop suspects that the endless network of tunnels may conceal the Seal of Saint Simeon, placed there by the hermit saint himself to protect the world from an ancient evil.
With the help of the young priest Ángel, the novice Mara and the exorcist Cuiña, Juana descends beneath the city to confront not only supernatural forces, but also the ghosts of her own past.
